Guardzilla - All-In-One Video Security System Smart-Guard Your World

While home security is a major concern, there has been a barrier in the marketplace keeping individuals from protecting their home due to price, ease-of-use and multi-unit home solutions – until now.

Individuals can now protect their home, loved ones and pets with Guardzilla, an affordable, easy-to-use, customizable security system that streams video to users’ smartphones in real-time and captures pictures. The motion sensor and siren capabilities allow Guardzilla to identify and deter unwanted intrusions. It’s peace of mind – at a small price tag.

Here the review from one of buyer in amazon.com by Eve

I really wanted this to work, as it's a camera that doesn't look like a camera, but it has issues. The dealbreaker for me is the loud clicking noise the device makes when it detects motion at night. It's so loud it wakes me up in the next room, and this is when the device is unarmed! There isn't a way to stop it from detecting motion other than to turn it off altogether that I can find. I am a l lighter sleeper, but it's loud. If someone were to come into your house at night, they would definitely notice the sound and likely the device. Mine gets triggered when the cat moves around at night.

PROS

1. Affordable (less than half what other similar devices cost)
2. Doesn't look like a camera unless you look closely
3. Good night vision and wide field of vision
4. No monthly cloud storage fees & wireless (but must be plugged in)
5. Motion detection
6. With a micro SD card it will record video with motion detection enabled. Without a card, it takes 3 photos and sends them to you on the app.
7. Good tech support (and you'll likely need it)
8. It has a loud annoying siren, so if you want to scare the crap out of dog(s) if they jump on the furniture while you're away, it will do that.

Cons:

1. Setup is buggy and slow with iPhones

2. Zero troubleshooting information on their website or in the setup instructions. If you have a setup issue, the only remedy I found is to call or email tech support. Luckily they are very helpful.

3. My setup issue turned out to be this bug: if your network has an apostrophe in it, it can't connect to it properly without a firmware update. The firmware update wouldn't work, so I had to change my network name as the only remedy. Spent an hour on the phone with tech support attempting to resolve this with a firmware update. It didn't work, and the device wouldn't upload the firmware update. The device will be fixed/updated at some point, but for now it's a bug.

4. The app on the iPhone is buggy and crashes regularly. If I open the app with the device armed, it regularly would say the device was unarmed. According to the log, it was armed. Or, if you use the app to monitor when the device is armed, then it becomes unarmed. Sometimes.

5. It can pair with your phone to automatically disarm and arm when you come and go. This seemed to make the app crash even more. When enabled, the GPS runs in the background constantly. This is great if you have your phone plugged in 24/7 to charge. Huge battery suck! To be fair, this is an iPhone thing, but something to think about if you want automatic arming and disarming.

6. The dealkiller mentioned above: the loud clicking noise the device makes when it detects motion at night. Unarmed. I could have lived with the other bugs, but the device waking me up at night when it shouldn't even be in use is too much. The motion detection is triggered by the cat walking around at night, and you can change the sensitivity for pets. This turns off motion detection for the bottom 25% of the monitor window. Since the cat is triggering the camera by jumping on the couch at night (higher up in the line of sight), this doesn't help.
